Adepticon 2013 38 days and counting

   So, it is getting close to that time of the year. I am not sure what I plan on taking with me. There is a chance for a Nurgle vs Space puppies grudge match, with a old friend of mine {Dave the Destroyer}. But, I have made a good blood angle jump army. If he goes it will be his first year. So, I am inclined to take an army he would like to play against.
  I am not sure if psychosquire is coming with yet. He pops up close to the con and gives little notice. He is sneaky like that. He most likely will bring a eldar/dark eldar list. I have play against it and got destroyed by it. I played nurgle and his Harley/HQ unit is a beast.
  Perv goat may also show up, if his work schedule clears up. This would be his first time also. We may get a few Malifaux games in I hope to get a few more models painted by then. If I am lucky, I hope to get another 40k game against him. We have played a game last month and he beat me but it was very tight. We played at the Battle Bunker and everyone was commenting on his old minis (2nd edition). It was great to see all the players giving their respect.
  I wish my buddy Ozzy could go for at least a day. He is a big Warmahoard player. I think he would get a kick out of it. But he has a hard work schedule.
  Well, I guess we will see who goes as we get closer.

Malifaux Release 2012(Gen CON) Trick or Treat

So I have been checking the web for new Gencon releases and for this. according to sources it it a 10 thunders model. Looks like a resser to me. I will post more as I get thim. I plan on spending $100.00 or so on Wyrd.

My First Malifaux Game

So, I play Von Schill vs Marcus and lost. I had fun but could have played better. My buddy Chris has been playing for years and even worked the booth at Gencon. He cut me alot of slack and I still got my butt kicked. I liked my crew and just started to get a few tricks down. One work of caution do not play your first game with the puppet deck. It was hard to understand the pics and play quickly. So, I am hooked on playing. The game last maybe an hour. So quick to set up and tear down. You need to give it a try.

Malifaux: Avatar and Alt Seamus

I don't play Seamus but the avatar makes me want to. I love the Hyde look and want see what they are going to do with the rest of the avatars. 

Malifaux: Nightmare Teddy

Now they finally released the nightmare teddy preview. It is  far  from the original teddy. But that is a good thing. I need to see teddy eating a few guild crews. It will look great in a two Teddy crew. Neverborns looked never better.

  So I think this girl is going on  my crew. It is free with a hundred dollar or over order  at Gencon  or on the web during the con. Laura Croft in Malifaux rocks.

Malifaux: Is Justice Dead 2, the whole crew

 I just found this on the Web. I think they are going to see people going crazy over this crew with only a 4 day run. I think that I am going to get a set as a loner crew.

Wyrd Miniatures at Gen Con 2011

 So, the official release line up from Wyrd miniatures has been posted. The nightmare teddy will have extra heads and arm options for customization.  Also the Lady Justice release is going to be awesome. They are selling it as a crew and the beauty is it can be used as a resser or guild crew. That's right I am guessing that we are getting two sets of cards and possibly cooler zombies then what we already have in the range. Finally, the free for a hundred dollar spent female convict gunslinger. This is not including the Alternative and Avatar models. I will be dropping at least enough money for for the gunslinger if the model is hot enough. Oh hell all there female models are hot( Well the hag is not.). Peace, love, and soulstones.

Malifaux: Viktorias double trouble Alt models

  I love the possibility of new poses. I would think alot of people would get into new crews with the energy made by alternate models. I can't wait till Gencon.

Malifaux: Is Justice Dead

  So Wyrd has posted this jem. It looks like Lady Justice had a bad hair day. I think this is an avitar.

 

 So this brings up the question are the avitars switching factions. I would say "YES" without a doubt. She looks like a resser to me. Bad for the guild, but someone will take her place.

Malifaux: Green Stuff Bases

 So my friend from Tennessee is going to Gen Con he is huge into Malifaux. So I need to get a move on my crew. I just got done finishing green stuffing my 6 bases. I tried for a cobblestone look. I hope to let it dry and then glue the models on and start painting.
  I do not plan on winning by any means, but I know I will have fun. I will post pic when I get them done. Lets see if I can make the deadline.

Malifaux: First Crew

 So I picked my first Crew. The Von Schill called out to me. It looked like a good starter army, looked easy to paint, styled like swat.
  I bought the mini rule book and am 30 pages into it. I plan on painting them up and looking for a henchman (wyrd sponsored Gamer) to teach me the ropes.
  If all goes well I will get at least two more crews so I can have friends play at will. I am not sure what else to get so I am open for ideas. The Shadow might play Ortega (Awesome gunslingers. I might hit up a guild group like witch hunters.

  I think this might be the filler needed to cover my gap of 40k games.
 I plan on going soul stone hunting soon.
